  c. a direction diagonal to the weave of a fabric. (Noun)
  d. cause to feel or show inclination or prejudice for or against someone or something. (Verb)
• Synonyms: prejudice, partiality, leaning, inclination, bent
• Antonyms: fairness, justness, impartiality, indifference
• Usage in a sentence: He showed a bias towards a few particular workers.

 3. Word: Confer (प्रदान करना)

• Pronunciation: kuh n-fur/ कन्फर
• Part of Speech: Verb
• Meaning: 
  a. grant (a title, degree, benefit, or right).
  b. have discussions; exchange opinions.
• Synonyms: accord, bestow
• Antonyms: deprive, disclaim
• Usage in a Sentence: He wanted to confer with his colleagues before reaching a decision.

4. Word: Intervention (हस्तक्षेप)

• Pronunciation: in-ter-ven-shuh n/ इन्टर्वेन्शन
• Part of Speech: Noun
• Meaning: the action or process of intervening
• Synonyms: interference, mediation, intrusion
• Antonyms: noninterference, nonintervention, challenge
• Usage in a Sentence: We would resist any armed intervention from outside.

5. Word: Vacuum (शून्य स्थान)

• Pronunciation: vak-yoom/ वैक्यूअम
• Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
• Meaning:  
  a. a space entirely devoid of matter. (Noun)
  b. clean with a vacuum cleaner. (Verb)
• Synonyms: void, emptiness, vacancy
• Antonyms: fullness, abundance
• Usage in a Sentence: The writer criticized the moral vacuum in society.

6. Word: Provision (पूर्व-कल्पना/शर्त/रसद)

• Pronunciation: pruh-vizh-uhn/प्रविश़न
• Part of Speech: Noun
• Meaning: 
  a. a clause in a legal instrument, a law, etc., providing for a particular matter.
  b. the providing or supplying of something, especially of food or other necessities.
  c. arrangement or preparation beforehand, as for the doing of something, the meeting of needs, the supplying of means, etc.
  d. something provided; a measure or other means for meeting a need.
  e. a supply or stock of something provided.

• Antonyms:removal, lack, disarray
• Usage in a sentence: The addition of a new regiment meant that they would run out of provisions just as quickly.

7. Word: Outlaw (ग़ैरक़ानूनी बनाना)

• Pronunciation: out-law / आउट्लॉ
• Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
• Meaning:
  ban or make illegal. (Verb)
  b. a person who has broken the law, especially one who remains at large or is a fugitive. (Noun)
• Synonyms: proscribe, prohibit, forbid
• Antonyms: paragon, legalize, allow
• Usage in a sentence: The new law will outlaw smoking in public places.

8. Word: Trafficking (ग़ैरकानूनी व्यापार करना)

• Pronunciation: traf-ik-ing/ ट्रैफिकिंग
• Part of Speech: Noun/Verb
• Meaning:
  a. the act of buying or selling goods illegally: arms/drug trafficking (noun)
  b. the act of buying or selling people, or of making money from work they are forced to do, such as sex work (noun)
  c. (of vehicles or persons) to move over or through (a place) (verb)
  d. to trade or deal in (a commodity or service) (verb)
• Synonyms: smuggling, contraband, trading
• Antonyms: legal, legitimate, fair
• Usage in a sentence: There has been a long standing trafficking in illegal drugs across the border.

9. Word: Embryo (भ्रूण)

• Pronunciation: em-bree-oh/ एम्ब्रीओ
• Part of Speech: Noun
• Meaning:  an organism in the earlier stages of development before it emerges from the egg, or before metamorphosis
• Synonyms: Fetus, seed, beginning 
• Usage in a sentence: ASP is very close to winning this election even though they are an embryo party of government.

10. Word: Baffle (चक्कर में डाल देना)

• Pronunciation: baf-uhl/बैफल
• Part of Speech: Verb
• Meaning:
  a. to confuse, bewilder, or perplex
  b. to frustrate or confound; thwart by creating confusion or bewilderment.
  c. to check or deflect the movement of (sound, light, fluids, etc.)
• Synonyms: perplex, bewilder, mystify
• Antonyms: explain, enlighten, support
• Usage in a sentence: He was baffled by the technical language of the instructions.
