Learn Vocabulary from 'The Hindu' Newspaper Wordlist: 30th June 2022

Vocabulary is an essential tool to ace the English section in competitive examinations. You can score better in the subject if you are able to intensify your command of Vocabulary.   • Meaning: existing in something as a permanent, essential, or characteristic attribute.
  • Synonyms: innate, intrinsic, natural, inborn, ingrained
  • Antonyms: acquired, extrinsic, external, accidental
  • Usage in a Sentence: I'm afraid the problems you mention are inherent in the system.

5. Word: Incite (उकसाना)

  • Meaning: encourage or stir up (violent or unlawful behaviour).
  • Synonyms: Provoke, encourage

  • Usage in a Sentence: He used a perverted form of socialism to incite racial hatred.

9. Word: Resentment (नाराजगी)

  • Pronunciation: ri-zent-muhnt/ रिज़ेन्ट्मन्ट

  • Meaning:
    a. the feeling of displeasure or indignation at some act, remark, person, etc., regarded as causing injury or insult.

  • Meaning: a deep-seated feeling of aversion.
  • Synonyms: hatred, hostility, animosity
  • Antonyms: love, kindness, desire
  • Usage in a sentence: There was a lot of antipathy between the two doctors.
