NLSIU has announced to conduct its own common entrance test NLAT 2020 for the admission to Academic Year 2020-21. NLAT 2020 will be administered by National Law School of India (NLSIU), Bangalore on NLAT date 12 September 2020. NLAT forms the National Law Aptitude Test which is an entrance exam conducted for admission to the undergraduate B.A., LL.B. (Hons) and postgraduate LL.M programmes at NLSIU, Bangalore commencing in 2020. The NLAT Notification 2020 has been released on the official website.

The NLAT Exam will be an online entrance exam using a computer device at their respective locations. NLSIU has also provided a list of exam centres in 14 cities to improve accessibility for the aspirants. NLAT 2020 Exam Pattern is mentioned below.

NLSIU in collaboration with an online test agency has provided various test centres for NLAT 2020. If the candidates are unable to take the exam at home or from the address mentioned in the application form, they can avail the option of a centre-based exam at a minimal rate of Rs. 350.
Therefore, the applicants have both the options, they can take the exam from their home or visit the nearest centre. They can also attempt the test from a different location considering it complies with the test protocols published.

After successfully conducting the NLAT 2020 exam, the university shall prepare the NLAT Merit list based on the marks secured. The merit rank, aggregate marks and marks of the last admitted candidate in their category will also be shared. There will only be one merit list for the academic year 2020-21.
NLAT Results and Provisional Admission List 2020 will be announced on 15 September 2020. Candidates shall receive the same information via email or on their registered mobile number.
