AILET Notification 2022, Latest Updates

AILET 2022 Exam Date Announced: NLU has announced exam date for AILET 2022 on the official website. The AILET exam 2022 will be held on Sunday, 01 May 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. AILET 2022 Notification will be released by the officials of National Law University on the official website in first week of January 2022. The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, conducts an All India Law Entrance Test. Candidates who are interested in pursuing a profession in law must take the AILET 2022. BA LLB (Hons), PhD, and LLM are among the programmes offered by this reputed institution. The BA LLB programme has a total of 83 places available. 70 of the 83 places are reserved for Indian students.

NLU Delhi is expected to release the AILET Application form 2022 in the January 2022. AILET Eligibility Criteria 2022

AILET Eligibility 2022 must be checked thoroughly before applying for the exam. The detailed AILET eligibility criteria include age limit and educational qualification. It is highly recommended that applicants check the eligibility criteria for AILET to avoid any disqualification at the time of counselling or merit list.

There is no upper NLU Delhi age limit mentioned by the authorities to appear for AILET 2022 exam. 

AILET Educational Qualification

As per the AILET Educational qualification, the below-mentioned criteria is acceptable. Candidates can apply for AILET after graduation as per the specifications. 

  • You must have cleared the Higher Secondary School Examination (10 + 2) or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Students who fall under the category of Foreign Nationals must have achieved at least 65% marks in the (10 + 2) exam.
  • Those students who are going to appear for the qualifying exam or awaiting results for the same are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

AILET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

  • If you are a candidate falling under the category of Foreign Nationals, you need not appear for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET).
  • Apart from the exemption from the admission test, other eligibility conditions for Foreign Nationals will remain the same.
  • Candidates belonging to the OCI/ PIO category shall be eligible to apply under the Foreign National category or Indian students.
  • OCI/PIO candidates who wish to apply under the Indian National category will be required to appear in the AILET.

AILET Exam Pattern 2022, Marking Scheme & Time Duration

As per the AILET 2022 exam pattern, the AILET question paper will include 150 multiple choice questions; each question will carry 1 mark.

  • NLU, Delhi tests candidates’ knowledge based on five different subjects, including English, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
  • Negative Marking Scheme: NLU has set the criteria for negative marking to encourage candidates to perform well in the entrance test. Each incorrect answer will cost you a deduction of 0.25 marks, i.e. four incorrect answers will lead to a deduction of 1 mark.

AILET Admit Card 2022

AILET Admit Card 2022 will be released on the NLU official website a few days before the exam date. National Law University will issue the NLU Delhi AILET admit card on its official website. Registered candidates can download the AILET exam admit card online by using the AILET login option. To download the AILET 2022 call letter, you need to enter your name, date of birth or application number. The AILET 2022 admit card release date will be announced soon. 

The AILET admit card issued by NLU will contain important particulars such as your name, date of birth, signature, photograph, reporting time, exam details, etc. You will not be allowed to enter inside the examination hall without admit card and valid photo ID proof.

NTA provides an automatic centre selection option and admit card generation system. Candidates may choose their desired test centre by selecting the State, City & Centre of their choice as per the list. The centre allocation shall be done on the basis of availability. AILET Result 2021 & Merit List

The University has declared the result of AILET 2021 along with the scorecard and AILET merit list. Exam-takers can visit the official website to check the merit list. To check the mark sheet, you need to enter the roll number and password in the AILET ogin section. The result will display separate merit lists, which includes the combined merit list of shortlisted candidates, the marks-wise list, the roll number-wise list, and the category-wise list. 

AILET Result 2021 & Scorecard

NLU Delhi announced the AILET 2021 result on 04 August 2021. National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released the AILET 2021 merit lists for BA LLB and LLM admission on 09 August 2021.
