AILET Result Merit List 2021released. NLU Delhi announced the AILET 2021 result on 04 August 2021. National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released the AILET 2021 merit lists for BA LLB and LLM admission on 09 August 2021. Candidates who appeared for the AILET exam 2021 on 30 July 2021 can check the result on the official website - and download the AILET 2021 merit list now.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2021

AILET Eligibility 2021 must be checked thoroughly before applying for the exam. The detailed AILET eligibility criteria include age limit and educational qualification.

AILET Age Limit

There is no upper age limit mentioned by the authorities to appear for AILET 2021 exam.

AILET Educational Qualification

As per the AILET Educational qualification, the below-mentioned criteria is acceptable.

  • You must have cleared the Higher Secondary School Examination (10 + 2) or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Students who fall under the category of Foreign Nationals must have achieved at least 65% marks in the (10 + 2) exam.
  • Those students who are going to appear for the qualifying exam or awaiting results for the same are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

AILET Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

  • If you are a candidate falling under the category of Foreign Nationals, you need not appear for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET).
  • Apart from the exemption from the admission test, other eligibility conditions for Foreign Nationals will remain the same.
  • Candidates belonging to the OCI/ PIO category shall be eligible to apply under the Foreign National category or Indian students.
  • OCI/PIO candidates who wish to apply under the Indian National category will be required to appear in the AILET.

How to apply online for AILET 2021

Follow the given instructions for filling the online application form of AILET 2021 accurately.

  • Click on the direct link of registration mentioned at the beginning of this article.
  • You will be redirected to the ‘login page’ where you need to click on ‘create a new account’.
  • After filling the details into the ‘user registration form’, check the details carefully before submitting them.
  • Now, log in using the credentials and click on ‘National Law University’ from the list of colleges.
  • Choose the relevant application form and click on ‘apply’.
  • Enter all the prescribed details mentioned in the application form. Do not leave any section of the application form incomplete.
  • Submit the details and proceed to the payment gateway for submitting the application fee.
  • On the payment page, choose ‘mode of payment’ and verify the amount.

  • Candidates falling under the category of SC/ST below the poverty line have been exempted from paying the application fee.

AILET Exam Pattern 2021

The AILET question paper will include 150 multiple choice questions; each question will carry 1 mark.

  • NLU, Delhi tests candidates’ knowledge based on five different subjects, including English, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
  • Negative Marking Scheme: NLU has set the criteria for negative marking to encourage candidates to perform well in the entrance test. Each incorrect answer will cost you a deduction of 0.25 marks, i.e. four incorrect answers will lead to a deduction of 1 mark.

AILET Admit Card 2021

AILET Admit Card 2021 has been released on 19 July 2021 on the NLU official website. National Law University has issued the admit card on its official website. Registered candidates can download the admit card online by using the AILET login option. To download the AILET admit card, you need to enter your name, date of birth or application number.

The AILET admit card issued by NLU will contain important particulars such as your name, date of birth, signature, photograph, reporting time, exam details, etc. You will not be allowed to enter inside the examination hall without admit card and valid photo ID proof.

NTA has provided an automatic Centre selection option and Admit Card Generation system. Candidates may choose their desired test centre by selecting the State, City & Centre of their choice as per the list. The centre allocation shall be done on the basis of availability. Please note that the test centre selection will be done on a First Come First Fill basis. 

AILET Result 2021

The University has declared the result of AILET 2021 along with the scorecard and AILET merit list. Exam-takers can visit the official website to check the merit list. To check the mark sheet, you need to enter the roll number and password in the AILET ogin section. The result will display separate merit lists, which includes the combined merit list of shortlisted candidates, the marks-wise list, the roll number-wise list, and the category-wise list.
