AIBE XVII (17) 2022

All Indian Bar Examination, abbreviated as AIBE is a national-level exam for all the Law Graduates, who want to pursue their career in the Court of Law. It is conducted once every year by the Bar Council of India for both LLB and LLM Graduates. The candidates who qualify for the AIBE Exam 2022 will be issued a COP (Court of Practice) certificate which will allow them to practice the law in the Indian Courts. Note one thing, the candidates without this certificate cannot practice in the Indian Courts.

AIBE Exam is conducted offline mode as a pen-paper mode. A total of 100 MCQ questions are asked which is needed to solve within 3 hours and 30 Minutes. There are no negative markings and 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer. The AIBE Exam 17 will be conducted across 53 cities in India in a total of 11 languages. BCI will release AIBE Exam 2022 Notification for all the details regarding registration, application form fees, eligibility, and syllabus soon on its official website.

AIBE Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification: The candidates must complete either LLB or LLM degree to appear in AIBE Exam XVII (17).
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for this exam. 
  • State Bar Council Enrolment: The candidates must be enrolled as advocates in their respective State Bar Council, Under Advocates Act, 1961: Section 24 (1) (f).
