LAST MINUTE TIPS – Before the D-Day
Hello Everyone, here are some final words of wisdom from our side to all of you! I would say some practical tips and checklist that might come in handy to you while you make that final move towards the much-awaited day, Yes, the D-day we have been preparing ourselves for and been waiting eagerly (I hope you are :D).
This year the examination will be conducted for a span of six days i.e. from 6th to 08th October and 17th to 19th October. It will be an online examination for which a whooping 10,34,869 candidates covering 81 subjects have applied. These numbers for sure look scary, but did you ever come across this amazing Mathematical equation:
(1.00)365 = 1.00
(1.01)365= 37.7
This equation tells us the value of the smallest of a number, in this case, ‘0.1’. Even a small increase in efforts can bring a significant change in your results! So, be unbothered by the big numbers of candidates and keep believing in all the small efforts you have been putting in till now to achieve your dream of clearing the exam and making every tiniest of effort you did in the past worth.
Now is the time to relax and revise all the important points you might have jotted down somewhere, which could be important formulae, years of establishments, chronologies of events and even the topics for your respective subjects which holds a significant place in getting you that JRF you have been aiming for.
Here are some last-minute tips for you all:
- First and foremost, take out the print-outs of the admit cards. This is the screenshot on how to do the same.
- Revise all the last-minute points you think are important, overcoming the temptation to study something new.
- Try reaching the examination centre well in advance, being an online exam there are many formalities done before you are allotted the systems to attempt your examination.
- Read all the questions with ease and don’t panic in case something new comes, try attempting it like a challenge and you will be able to solve it!
- The second paper will be equally challenging being different for everyone. But remember, that’s your expertise and you did a MASTERS in it!
- Don’t underestimate the power of a good and healthy diet. It will keep you active.
- Get a goodnight sleep (It will recharge all your thinking neurons 😉)
- Block any negativity around and surround yourself with positive thoughts (I will get my JRF this time! – repeat it a zillion times)
- Last but not least, remember it's just an examination and you can conquer mountains with your determination and grit.
So, guys fasten your seat belts and gear up. The day you have been waiting is finally here!
