What is KSET Full Form?
Karnataka State Eligibility Test is the full form of KSET. As the name suggests it is conducted in the state of Karnataka. This test is organized by the University of Mysore and is conducted juts once a year unlike to UGC NET. This exam, just like UGC NET, is performed to give candidates the eligibility for applying for the post of Assistant Professor. The only difference is UGC NET gives you eligibility to apply as assistant professor throughout the country but with KSET, you can only apply in the state of Karnataka.
The exam is held in offline mode i.e. with OMR sheets. The medium of examination is both Hindi and English and just like UGC NET Exam, there is no negative marking.
What is KSET Exam Pattern?
Candidates preparing for the KSET Examinations should have full knowledge of the KSET Exam Pattern. KSET Exam pattern is very similar to UGC NET Exam Pattern. KSET have two papers, Paper 1 and 2. Both will be held in separate sessions. The mode of the questions will be MCQs.
KSET Paper 1 – This paper will have 50 questions, and every question will have 2 marks. In addition, those questions might be GS because the purpose right here is to evaluate the teaching aptitude of the individual. The number one goal of this paper is to assess the comprehension, divergent wondering and reasoning capacity of the candidate.
KSET Paper 2 – This paper will include 100 questions totally about the candidate's chosen subject.
