KPTCL Nationality

The candidates must be Indian citizens to apply for the KPTCL Recruitment 2022. If a candidate is declared guilty or otherwise in any pas case, then he/she is not eligible to apply. 

KPTCL Educational Qualification

The KPTCL educational qualification for each post is given below. 

Qualifying Marks for KPTCL Recruitment 2022

The candidates must have obtained the following marks in their Graduation or Diploma while applying for the KPTCL Recruitment 2022. Candidates scoring less than the given marks shall be deemed as ineligible to apply. 

KPTCL Age Limit - Upper Age & Lower Age Limit

The age limit for the KPTCL exam 2022 must be fulfilled by each candidate. KPTCL has prescribed the minimum age limit and maximum age limit for all the candidates. The table given below informs you the same. Age relaxation shall be applicable only if the candidates belong to the reserved category. 

• The minimum age limit is 18 years
• The maximum age limit is 35 years

Age Relaxation for the KPTCL Exam

The candidates who are domiciles of Karnataka State will be given the age limit relaxation. Candidates from other states shall be treated as General candidates. The category-wise KPTCL age limit relaxation is mentioned below. 

Points to Note for KPTCL Eligibility Criteria 2022

KPTCL has notified some important points that all the candidates must take into consideration while applying for the exam. 

• Candidates who have completed their diploma or degree from distance education and open universities are not eligible to apply. 
• The candidates who are awaiting their degree on the due date of receipt of the application form are not eligible to apply for the KPTCL 2022 exam. 
• Candidates should have completed their educational qualification as on the closing date of the KPTCL online form can apply. 
• Only those candidates can apply who have obtained the qualifying marks in their Degree/Diploma level can apply. The qualifying marks for each category are specified in this post above. 
• The candidates should have studied Kannada as the main language or second language or optional subject in SSLC, PUC, or other exams.
