KPSC JE Selection Process 2023
The candidates going to appear in the KPSC JE exam must note that every aspirant has to qualify for the two stages of the KPSC JE Selection Process. The two phases of the KPSC JE selection criteria are as follows:
- Written Examination
- Document Verification
Based on marks in the written examination the candidates will be called upon for the next stage of the selection process.
KPSC JE Selection Process Written Examination
Aspirants will have to appear for the written examination as it is defined as the initial stage of the selection process in the recruitment notification.
The written examination will be in the following format that is laid down below:
- The KPSC JE written exam will be conducted offline.
- The KPSC JE question paper will be an objective type multiple choice-based questions.
- For every wrong answer a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
- The exam is divided into two papers i.e., Paper-1 & Paper-2.
- The KPSC JE Paper 1 would have 100 questions from General Studies of 100 marks.
- The KPSC JE Paper 2 would have 100 questions from General English, General Kannada, and Computer Knowledge of 100 marks.

KPSC JE Selection Process Document Verification
During the time of online application, the eligibility of the candidates for the examination is presumed. Therefore on successful qualification in the written examination, the authenticity of the details provided by aspirants will be checked by the officials in the document verification stage.
The list of document an aspirant have to produce at the time of the KPSC JE Document Verification Process are as follows:
- Original and a copy of Government issued Identity Proofs such as Aadhar Card, Voter Id Card, Driving License, Ration Card, and Pan Card.
- Class Xth, XIIth, and Degree certificate.
- Category Certificate for candidates belongs to SC, ST, and OBC.
- No Objection Certificate for aspirants serving in any Public or Private Sector.
KPSC JE Merit List
On completion of all the two stages of the KPSC JE Selection Process i.e. written examination and document verification the authority will release a list of candidates who will be appointed as JE in KPSC. The letter of appointment and other details will be communicated to the final shortlisted candidates through various communication means.
