Basic Difference Between CLAT vs SLAT

Common-Law Admission Test CLAT is conducted by The Consortium of NLUs to supply courses for UG and PG programs. Twenty-two National Universities take participate in the exam per annum and other several universities offer admission on the idea of CLAT merit. On the opposite hand, Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test SLAT is conducted by Symbiosis University to pick students for its law program and it is considered for law admissions in four law schools that come under SIU. SLAT vs CLAT Application Fees

The difference between CLAT vs SLAT application fees is described below.

  • The SLAT Registration fee is 1950/- for all category candidates and this amount is non-refundable. Along with the registration fee, you’ll also get to pay the program registration fee for every program. The registration fee for programs is INR 1000/- (non-refundable and non-transferable).
  • On the other hand, the CLAT Registration fee varies as per the candidates’ category. For general category candidates, it is 4000/-.And for reserve category candidates it is 3500/-.

Which is Tougher – CLAT vs SLAT?

The first thing that comes to mind of a candidate before appearing at the entrance is which one is difficult to crack. If you compare the number of applicants per seat, then CLAT is definitely tougher than SLAT.

As per analysis, in CLAT, approximately 17 candidates compete for just one seat. However, on the other hand, there are around 130 candidates competing for just one seat at SIU.
