The eligibility criteria for JKPSC Assistant Professor are given in the following points:

• At least 55% have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. There is a 5% relaxation for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PWD candidates.
• UGC NET performed by UGC / CSIR is a mandatory or other government SET test.
• Those applicants who obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, are exempt from min. qualification condition of NET/SLET/SET.

NOTE: NET/SLET/SET is not required for those Master’s Programs in which NET/SET/SET is not conducted.
