JEE Main 2021 May Exam Dates clash with CBSE board exams, NTA allows students to pick dates

By Rahul Singh|Updated : February 15th, 2021

CBSE class 12 exam schedule has been released, starting from May 04, 2021 to June 07, 2021. A date clash has been observed in the phase 4 attempt of JEE Main 2021 exam date that is scheduled for the dates May 24-28, 2021.

The biology exam is scheduled on May 24, 2021 and the economics exam is scheduled on May 25, 2021. According to the reports, JEE Main attempt is coinciding with several state and CBSE board examinations. Still, there is neither a change in exam schedule, for CBSE or any state board nor in JEE Main 2021 exam. However, the National testing agency (NTA) will allow the JEE Main appearing students to choose from the dates of their convenience.

NTA added that the candidates appearing for class 12 board examinations as well as for JEE Main will be required to provide information under “whether appearing for Board Examination on any of the dates between May 24-28, 2021” and choose the ‘date’ in their online application to avoid clashes with their schedule of Jee Main and CBSE class 12 board examination. Those candidates, who will follow the above procedure will get their updated admit card in the same span of time as of the other candidates.

Despite all the sudden coincidences, there is a golden chance for those who have dropped this year to dedicate themselves for the preparation of JEE. You can focus only on the JEE main examination with all of your heart.
