# JEE Main 2021 March 17 Analysis Shift 2 Day 2 - Overall Exam Review, Expected Cutoff, Answer key

JEE Main March 17 Paper Analysis 2021 Shift 2: Second shift of Day 2 is over & we are here to give you detailed analysis about the same. We have provided you with a detailed analysis of Day 1 both shifts & students’ feedback. Let’s see how students felt about slot 2 of Day 2 and how it was in comparison with other shifts. The duration of the exam is three hours. The paper comprised 90 questions with 30 questions in each section. Each section has 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Numerical Answer Type questions (from which 5 has to be answered). The JEE Main 2021 Result for March attempt is expected to be declared by NTA in April first week. Below is the analysis for Day 2 evening shift.

## Highlights of JEE Main 2021 March 17 Exam (Day 2 Evening Shift)

• The overall level of the exam was Moderate again.
• Physics section was considered Moderate by students, calculative questions were there.
• Maths was moderate and lengthy again in this shift too. It was most time consuming.
• Chemistry was again Easy & NCERT Based, most of the questions were theory based.
• Questions were uniformly asked from whole syllabus in each of the subjects
• Students felt this slot was more difficult than the slots of February session.

### Physics

Physics was Moderately Difficult. Students found this section calculative. 11th portion had more weightage in the exam. Mechanics was again predominantly asked. 13-15 questions can be considered as good attempts.

### Chemistry

Chemistry was Easy. Majority of the questions were theory based. This section was less time consuming as compared to others. Number of good attempts for this section is 15-17. Physical Chemistry questions were easy too (not calculative)

### Mathematics

Mathematics was Moderate to lengthy again. Students found a few questions lengthy Majority of questions were from Algebra and Calculus. Students felt it was tad bit easier than the shift 1 exam of today.
