JEE Main 2021 March 17 Paper Analysis Shift 1: Today is the Day 2 of JEE Main 2021 March Examination. We have provided you with the detailed analysis of Day 1 both shifts & students’ feedback. The paper comprised 90 questions with 30 questions in each section. Each section has 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Numerical Answer Type questions (from which 5 has to be answered). JEE Main 2021 March 17 Analysis: Day 2 Shift 1

Highlights of the JEE Main March 17 Exam 2021 (Day 2 Morning Shift)

  • The overall level of the exam was Moderate. It was same as shift 1 of previous day & tad bit easier than shift 2.
  • Physics section was considered Moderate by students again. Mechanics had high weightage in this shift.
  • Maths was moderate and lengthy again.
  • Chemistry was again Easy & NCERT Based, most of the questions were theory based. In this shift Physical Chemistry was predominantly asked.
  • Questions were uniformly asked from whole syllabus in each of the subjects
  • Students felt this slot was more difficult than the slots of February session.

Physics

Physics was Moderately Difficult. Questions from Mechanics & Magnetism covered high weightage in the exam. Students from future shifts should revise all the important formulas from these 2 units. Number of good attempts is 14-17.

Chemistry

Chemistry was Easy. Majority of the questions were theory based again. Physical Chemistry questions were on easier side too. Students can easily score 70+ marks in this section.

Mathematics

Mathematics was Moderate to lengthy again. Calculative questions were there. Questions were asked from whole syllabus uniformly. Easy kill topic were not omitted by NTA. 12-15 attempts in this section can be considered good. Integration & Algebra had more weightage in this shift.
