JEE Main 2021 March 16 Analysis Shift 2 - Overall Day 1 Exam Analysis

JEE Main March 16 Analysis 2021 Shift 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the shift 2 of JEE Main (March) 2021 Paper. The duration of the exam is three hours. The paper comprised 90 questions with 30 questions in each section. Each section has 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Numerical Answer Type questions (from which 5 has to be answered). The result of JEE Main March attempt is expected to be declared by NTA in April 1st week. Below is the analysis for morning shift.

JEE Main Shift 2 Analysis 2021: Day 1 (16th March)

Highlights of the JEE Main March 16 Exam 2021

  • The overall level of the exam was Moderate, students felt it was difficult than first shift.
  • Physics section was considered Easy to Moderate by students.
  • Maths was moderate and lengthy again. Students felt it was the toughest of the three subjects.
  • Chemistry was again Easy & NCERT Based, most of the questions were theory based.
  • Assertion Reasons & Matching questions were there.
  • Students felt this slot was more difficult than the slots of February session.

Physics

Physics was Moderate as per students. Second book of 11th & 12th was more in weightage in the exam as per students feedback, so students should revise these chapters again before their attempt.

Chemistry

Chemistry was Easy. Majority of the questions were theory based. This section was less time consuming as compared to others. Number of good attempts for this section is 15-17. Reasoning assertion questions were there in Inorganic Chemistry. It had no surprising element as such.

Mathematics was Moderate to lengthy again. Students found a few questions lengthy Majority of questions were from Algebra and Calculus. Numerical questions were calculative.
