It is not fair to say that democracies are more prosperous than other kinds of governments. It is not a good argument and is not in favour of democracy. There are many countries that are not democracies yet quite successful and economically developed. Saudi Arabia, China and Cuba are such countries that are economically well-developed.

India being a democracy, faces many challenges to date as there are a variety of people residing in different areas of the country. There are different kinds of opinions all over, and that leads to some issues that are uncalled for.
