The IFoS officer of this position gets INR 2,00,000 per month. he/she answers directly to the chief and the officer has to do any task assigned by the chief.

Deputy Conservator of Forest

Also known as the Division Forest officer and the IFoS salary for this position is INR 1,18,500. The key responsibilities for this posy are to maintain forests, wildlife issues, and the environment.

Assistant Conservator of the Forest

The salary of an Indian forest service officer in this position is INR 56,100. They have to answer to all the higher-level officers in the department.

Indian Forest Service Officer Career Path

The IFoS salary increases with promotion. All the candidates after clearing IFoS have to go through training for two years at IGNFA (Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy). After the training, the candidates are appointed as the Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF). The IFoS salary for this position is INR 56,100.
