Assistant Conservator of the Forest:

Indian Forest Service Officer Career Path

The IFoS salary increases with promotion. All the candidates after clearing IFoS have to go through training for two years at IGNFA (Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy). After the training, the candidates are appointed as the Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF). The Indian Forest Service salary for this position is INR 56,100.
