Indian Coast Guard Navik: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Navik Entry
Candidates seeking entry into the Indian Coast Guard as Navik or Yanktrik need to stay within the Indian Coast Guard age limit. According to this, they should be between 18 and 22 years. Age Limit Relaxation
Age relaxation in the maximum age limit is offered to the special category of candidates that include SC, ST, and OBC applicants. As per the Indian Coast Guard age relaxation criteria, a relaxation of 5 years is offered to SC and ST candidates. However, for OBC candidates, it's only 3 years.
Educational Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Navik Entry

Navik (GD & DB)
There are two posts in the Navik category, and the education requirement is different for each.
For Navik General Duty (GD), candidates should be 10+2 pass with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects from an Examination Board recognized by the central or state/UT government. For Navik Domestic Branch (DB), the educational eligibility is Class 10 pass.
Yantrik (Class 10th pass)
For the post of Yantrik, the Indian Coast Guard qualification criteria include a 10th pass certificate. The applicant must pass Class 10 from a school examination board recognized by the central or state/UT government.
Besides, a 3 or 4-year diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio or Power) from an AICTE-approved institute is needed.
Yantrik (Class 12th pass)
If the candidate has successfully passed 10+2, the diploma requirement is relaxed. Instead, applicants need to produce only a 2 or 3-year diploma from any AICTE-approved institute in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio or Power).
Nationality
According to Indian Coast Guard eligibility criteria, candidates seeking entry into this naval defense force should be Indian citizens. They must produce specified documents to prove their Indian citizenship status.
Number of Attempts in Indian Coast Guard Navik Entry
There is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make at these examinations. However, as discussed before, there is a minimum and maximum age limit, and the window is very small. For this purpose, applicants to the Indian Coast Guard must try to clear the exam in the first shot.
Experience
