Healthcare in India

Although India is the third largest producer of medicines in the world it is often said that it lacks proper healthcare facilities because the government does not have a sufficient budget and facilities for that. To set up healthcare facilities such as hospitals, laboratories, healthcare centres, blood banks, etc. requires a good amount of budget. To prevent the illness and for its treatment, these facilities are required in India.

India has a large number of hospitals, doctors, and clinics but they are not sufficient as the population of the country is very high. To cater large percentage of the population of India, there is a need for the establishment of more healthcare facilities.
