CLAT 2022 will test the candidate's awareness about the major happenings around the globe. It is more of a factual section. Either you know the answer or you don’t. CLAT UG Syllabus 2022- Sectional Weightage

CLAT UG 2022 will be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. English Language, Current Affairs, including GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques are the five areas of the CLAT 2022 paper. The CLAT exam will be based on common subjects from 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes and will include topics such as constitutional law, family law, tort law, and contract law, among others.

CLAT 2022 Current Affairs, Including General Knowledge Syllabus

The syllabus of CLAT UG entrance Exam 2022 includes GK & Current affairs section as well. It is one of the most scoring sections and therefore, you must note all the important points regarding CLAT 2022 current affairs syllabus below. 

  • You will be given sections of up to 450 words apiece in this part. The sections will be taken from news articles, journalistic sources, and other nonfiction work. The questions could involve a review of legal facts or expertise addressed in or connected to the passage, but they wouldn't require anymore legal understanding.

  • Each passage will be followed by a series of questions that will test your understanding of many areas of current events and general knowledge, such as:

Make a notebook

  • Make a notebook and note down important news on a daily basis. 

  • Learn it and revise it on a daily basis. 

How to Prepare Current Affairs including GK for CLAT 2022?

  • Always break the chapter into few important topics. This way you will not panic at the time of revision and memorize better. 

  • Make a timetable as per your daily routine and stick to it. 

  • Make sticky notes of the facts that are hard to memorize and paste them on a place where you visit frequently or which is near to your sight.

  • Attempt as many quizzes as you can after going through the syllabus. This way you will retain the important facts and figures for a long. 

  • Take 2-3 mock tests in a week. Analyze those tests properly. Find your weak points and note down those areas in a notebook.

  • Revise, Revise and Revise. This is the only mantra that will help you win the race in long run. Follow it to see the difference. 

  • Persevere to get through the odds. Be regular in your studies. There is no excuse left for failure if you maintain regularity in your daily study.
