IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2023-25
IIM Udaipur Admission Process consists of two stages. Stage-1 consists of the shortlisting process for the Personal Interview round and Stage-2 consists of the preparation of a merit list based on the CAT Score, PI round score and the Profile score.
Stage-1 (Shortlisting)
In the first stage, the candidates are selected based on their CAT scores for the Personal Appearance round. The cut-off percentile for all the three sections of the CAT exam for different categories and the total cut-off percentile is given below in the table:

This year the CAP will be conducted by IIM Udaipur. The scores obtained by the candidates in CAP 2023 in Personal Interview round would be considered for preparing the merit list.
Stage-2 (Preparation Of Merit List)
The final merit list is prepared based on the following criteria:

*CAT Score of the candidate divided by maximum CAT Score among candidates who have applied to IIM-Udaipur and attended PI. It is clarified that the CAT Score would be used and not the CAT Percentile.
CAT Score (60%)
IIM-U will use CAT Score and not CAT Percentile
Personal Appearance (15%)
Candidates who do not obtain the required minimum scores in the PI will not be considered for the merit list.
Profile (25%)
Break-up for 25% of the component profile:
- Academic Profile: 9%
- Work experience: 9%
- Diversity: 7%
For Academic Profile, the following will be the weightage: - 10th Standard: 2%
- 12th Standard: 2%
- Under Graduation: 4%
- CA/CS/ICWA (completed): 1%
The following would be used for scoring candidates in respect of their academic profiles with or up to under graduation:

The following would be used for scoring candidates in respect of their academic profiles with professional qualification candidates and without bachelor’s degree:

ii. For Work Experience following will be the basis for scoring candidates:

*Only fulltime remunerative work experience after graduation and completed months till 31st January 2023 will be considered
A valid proof with date of appointment, date of relieving and work experience certificate will be mandatory at the time of registration for the program.
Part time/project/internship/articleship/pre-graduation work experience etc., will not be counted as work experience.
iii. Diversity:

3. Reservations:
IIM Udaipur will follow the reservation policy as per Government of India norms and as notified in CAT 2022 notification.
