IBPS PO 2018 Success Story: Sachi kheria

By Gaurav Singh Bhadouria|Updated : April 25th, 2019
Hello everyone, my name is Sachi kheria. I belong to Nirsa, Dhanbad. I have done my b.com in 2015. I want to thank the whole BYJU'S Exam Prep team, for helping me throughout my journey.

I want to share those two things, that have inspired me always, my parents and my sister. There is a famous quote that says:

"LAHRO SE DARKAR NOKA PAAR NHI HOTI, KOSHISH KRNE WALO KI HAAR NHI HOTI".

I have given many exams, but couldn't clear any of them. Finally, it was 1st Jan when I came to know that I have cleared my IBPS RRB clerk exam. I was happy that day but not that much because I knew that I deserved more.
Then the happiest moment came on 1st April when I came to know that I had cleared the IBPS PO exam. My dad got very emotional when I told him this news. That was the happiest moment of my life.

Now I will share my strategy:

For the Preliminary Exam:
You should have a good calculating speed along with accuracy. Daily practice one full length mock. Increase your vocabulary by daily reading newspaper and making a separate note of new words. I preferred only BYJU'S Exam Prep's online test series. Your basics should be clear in all the sections. Here, practice is the only key to success.

For the MAIN Exam:-

General Awareness:

This is the most scoring subject. Prepare current affairs of at least 5 months before the main exam. Note down daily current affairs from BYJU'S Exam Prep or adda. Must follow BYJU'S Exam Prep tornado and adda capsule. BYJU'S Exam Prep quizzes are very helpful. Daily current affairs of Affairs cloud are also very good.

Quantitative Aptitude:

I cleared my basics from R.S. Agarwal and BSC Publication math book. Then I practiced daily from BYJU'S Exam Prep's quizzes.

Reasoning Ability:

Practice as much as you can. No special book for preparation, just solve as many questions as you can.

English:

Read The Hindu newspaper on a daily basis, at least for 1 hour. Try to learn new words, note them down separately and revise them regularly.

After your prelims exam is over, do not wait for the main exam and start your preparation at the earliest.

Interview:

Just be yourself. Be calm and confident with your answers.

I especially want to thank @satabdhi kesari barik (gradeup user), because of him I cleared my descriptive paper.

Once again I thank BYJU'S Exam Prep for their efforts and best of luck to all my fellow aspirants.
