IBPS PO 2018 Success Story: Ashutosh Sinha

Hello everyone, My name is Ashutosh Sinha. I have cleared IBPS PO and I got CANARA BANK. Today, I am sharing my preparation strategy with all of you.

PREPARATION STRATEGY

I have graduated in 2017 in economics and then I started preparing for banking examinations. I have installed BYJU'S Exam Prep, ADDA 247 for my preparation. I have given a lot of exams before got selected as PO. Some of them are
  • IBPS CLERK 2017- OUT IN MAINS
  • SYNDICATE PGDBF- OUT
  • CANARA PGDBF- OUT
  • SBI JA 2018- GOT SELECTED POSTED IN CG
  • IBPS RRB PO- OUT IN INTERVIEW
  • IBPPS PO 2018- GOT SELECTED
Subject-Wise Strategy

Quant section: I focused a lot in DI. I solved many DI to get good command over it.
REASONING section: I used to solve a lot of question including puzzle n non-puzzle questions but in the exam, I focused on the non-puzzled question first and then move to Puzzle questions.
English: I worked on vocab by reading the newspaper daily and studied a lot of editorial on a daily basis.
GA: This is an important section. I used to follow BYJU'S Exam Prep on daily basis and then weekly one-liner, monthly digest and before 15 days of mains, I focused a lot on GK tornado. This helps me a lot to get more marks.
I have also given a lot of sectional mock test this helped in solving the questions with sped and accuracy.

This was my strategy for the exam. Those who are preparing for banking must put hard work with a smart strategy and never lose hope because it depends upon how you tackle the failure and get over it.

GRADEUP helped me a lot in many ways by putting up sectional quizzes, GK tornado to a weekly one-liner, previous year questions.
So a big thank you to BYJU'S Exam Prep team as it helped me in achieving my dream of becoming a PO.
