The IBPS Clerk Exam Shift Timings 2022 for the Preliminary Exam are provided here. Please take note of it and get ready accordingly. IBPS Clerk 2022 Shift Timings – There will be four shifts for the preliminary tests. The IBPS Clerk 2022 Preliminaries will take place on 3rd September, and 4th September 2022.

IBPS Clerk Exam Language
The IBPS Clerk 2022 prelims and mains exams will be given in 13 regional languages in addition to English and Hindi, per rules approved by the parliament. This is because the members of the clerical cadre often communicate with the locals. Therefore, it is essential to be familiar with the regional tongue of each state. General Instructions For IBPS Clerk 2022 Prelims
The instructions that must be followed by the candidates to take the exam successfully are enlisted here, you must follow the guidelines to take the exam successfully. You must mote the details on the IBPS Clerk admit card 2022 and carefully read out the instructions mentioned therein.
- The date, time, and address of the exam’s location will be listed in the call letter.
- You must bring your most current passport-sized photo and the Call Letter to the examination location.
- No use of books, notebooks, written notes, cell phones (with or without camera capability), other electronic devices, or standalone or watch-equipped calculators is permitted throughout the exam.
- It is necessary to include a picture with your call letter.
- Carry a photocopy of any valid picture identification together with the original document stapled to the call letter.
- Always keep a ballpoint pen with you. There will be paper available.
What Is Prohibited At Exam Centre?
You must mark the prohibited items in the IBPS Clerk exam centres and avoid carrying them by mistake. Failing to follow the prescribed rules can lead to the cancellation of the candidature. You can take a look at the list of prohibited items in the exam centre.
- Any stationery item, such as printed or handwritten text, scraps of paper, a geometry or pencil box, a plastic pouch, a writing pad, pen drives, a log table, an electronic pen, or a scanner.
- Any type of communication tool, including a mobile phone, Bluetooth, earbuds, microphone, pager, fitness band, etc.
- Other goods include sunglasses, handbags, belts, caps, hair bands, hair watches, cameras, and anything metallic.
- Any food item that has been opened or packed, any water bottle (only clear water bottles are permitted).
- Any other item that could be used unfairly to conceal communication equipment like Bluetooth devices, cameras, etc.

The candidate must report to the exam centre strictly at the time allotted in the call letter and as specified in that time slot. The Candidate Roll Numbers and Lab Numbers will be given to the applicants upon entry to the testing location rather than being displayed outside the exam site.
Only a limited number of objects will be allowed for candidates to bring into the venue.

- Personal transparent water bottle (Candidates must bring their own water bottle)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- A simple pen
The original photo ID card must be shown, along with identical copies of the Call Letter that are stapled together. The call letter and the ID’s name must exactly match. Scribes are required to provide a properly filled-out, signed, and attached photo on the Scribe form. Nothing else is permitted besides the Scribe form.
IBPS Clerk Prelims & Mains 2022 Examination Pattern
The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2022 exam will last a total of 60 minutes. Exam time for the mains is 2 hours and 40 minutes. Get complete details of the exam pattern as illustrated here.

- Candidates can shuffle between tests and questions anytime during the examination as per your convenience only during the time stipulated
- The candidate finally “Submit” once the actual test time of the examination is exhausted.
- Under no circumstances should a candidate click on any of the ‘keyboard keys’ during the test once the exam starts as this will lock the exam.
