IB ACIO Vacancies 2020-2021: Check ACIO Grade 2/Executive Category wise Vacancy List

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the 2000 vacancies for Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) post in Grade 2. This is a great opportunity for candidates who wish to join the intelligence services and serve the nation directly. The selection to the IB ACIO posts will be through 3 stages. The first stage (Tier 1) will be an objective type online test consisting of 100 questions from 5 different sections comprising of General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, General Studies, and English Language. The second stage (Tier 2) will be a descriptive paper of 50 marks whereas the third stage (Tier 3) will be an interview round. Important Points Regarding IB ACIO 2020 Vacancy
Here are some important points on IB ACIO 2020 Vacancies:
- The IB ACIO post involves All India Service liability. Hence, only those candidates should apply who are willing to serve anywhere in India
- The Tier 3 of IB ACIO exam will be an interview round which also involves psychometric/ aptitude test
- The board does not reserve any special vacancy for special categories such as Physically Handicapped (HH, OH, VH) persons. Therefore, such candidates should not apply for the IB ACIO post
- The reservation of vacancies in IB ACIO for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen/ ESM is as per rules/ roster
- ESM candidates have to submit an undertaking, as & when asked for, as mentioned in the appendix-5 of the advertisement
- If ESM candidates are not found to be fit for the reserved vacancies, then such vacancies will be filled by non-ESM candidates for respective categories
- The pay scale for IB ACIO post also include special security allowance with 20 per cent of basic pay in addition to other Govt. allowances
- Appointment to IB ACIO post is temporary. Nevertheless, appointment in permanent capacity will depend on various factors
- Candidates have to successfully complete the induction training in order to get a confirmation of their post
- Candidates seeking to apply for this post must possess the essential qualification on or before the closing date, i.e., the final result must be out on or before the closing date, viz. January 09, 2021 (till 23:59). Such candidates also need to be successful in it in order to be eligible for it
