Stages of IB ACIO Admit Card 2020-21

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) releases separate admit card for different stages of IB ACIO Exam. We have provided the complete details for the various stages of the admit card:

IB ACIO 2021 Tier 1 Admit Card

MHA board releases Tier 1 admit card 4 days before the exam date. Tier 1 is an objective type test which comprises of 5 different sections namely General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, English Language and General Studies. Each section has a weightage of 20 marks and candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

IB ACIO 2021 Tier 2 Admit Card

The board releases admit card of Tier 2 for candidates who have qualified Tier 1 exam. Tier 2 is a descriptive test consisting of total 50 marks. Out of total 50 marks, 30 marks are allotted to Essay writing and 20 marks to English Comprehension & Precis Writing. Candidates get 1 hour to complete this stage of examination.

IB ACIO 2021 Interview Admit Card

Candidates who have cleared Tier 2 of IB ACIO Exam are eligible to get a call for interview round. The board issues Interview admit card/ call letter for Tier 2 qualified candidates.

IB ACIO 2021 Exam Centre Guidelines

Candidates must follow the below-mentioned guidelines at the time of giving the IB ACIO Examination:

  • Candidates are advised to report at least hour before the reporting time for smooth completion of activities such as candidate’s verification, biometric and photo capture, document collection, the announcement of instructions and logging in etc.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam hall after the closing of the gate
  • Candidates should locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the exam so that they can reach the centre on time on the day of the test
  • Candidates must not carry banned items such as electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth enabled devices, calculators, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, etc.
  • Candidates need to write their name and roll number on the rough sheet(s) provided for rough work. Candidates have to submit the rough sheets after the test in a separate dropbox
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam centre before the completion of the IB ACIO Exam

  • A. As per the latest notification released by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) exam will be conducted from February 18, 2021, to February 20, 2021. 

  • A. The IB ACIO Exam Admit Card Status comprises details of Exam State, Exam City, and Exam Date. 

  • A. Candidates in order to check the admit card should have a valid User ID and Password. The User ID and Password can be obtained from the candidate’s registered email id which was sent to them at the time of IB ACIO Exam registration. 

  • A. Candidates can retrieve their password by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ present beside the ‘Login’ button. Enter the User ID and captcha code and click on ‘Get Password’. Once done candidates will get the password in their registered email id/ mobile number. 

  • A. The admit card of IB ACIO Exam will be released 4 to 7 day prior to the IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam. 

  • A. IB ACIO Admit Card enlists the following details:
