HTET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines: Important Do’s and Don’t

HTET Exam Day Guidelines 2021: Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level examination for the recruitment of Primary, TGT and PGT level teachers of the state. It is conducted by the Haryana Board of Education.

The BSEH will conduct the HTET exam starting tomorrow for PGT level i.e., 18th December 2021 and for TGT and PRT on 19th December 2021. The board has also issued a set of exam-day guidelines and instructions. These include entry timings and security procedures, items that are prohibited at exam centres as well as a dress code. These are listed below, candidates must follow the HTET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines.

Things Required on Haryana TET 2021 Exam Day

Due to the ongoing covid crisis in the country, it is important to avoid any risk of getting infected. This is why BSEH has released the exam day instructions which are mandatory for the candidates on the HTET 2021 Exam Day.

  • A coloured print of the HTET admits card 2021.
  • Carry the identity card registered by the candidate at the time of application, which is also mentioned on the candidate’s admit card, in original for identification at the examination centre.
  • Candidates must carry a Blue/Black Ball Point pen.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre two hours and ten minutes before the commencement of the exam so that all the pre-exam formalities such as frisking, IRIS biometric can be smoothly carried out. No candidate will be allowed to take the exam without the pre-verification and biometric. Also, the gates of the exam centres will be closed thirty minutes before the exam.
  • 2 Coloured photographs were uploaded during application to the exam centre.
  • Face mask
  • Personal hand sanitiser (50 mL)
  • Transparent water bottle (500 mL)

HTET 2021 Exam Covid Guidelines

  • Wear a face mask all the time that covers your mouth completely.
  • Strictly follow social distancing.
  • No materials are to be exchanged in the HTET Examination hall.
  • Safe mode of transportation to be used while commuting to and from the HTET Exam centre.
  • Avoid coming in contact with strangers as much as possible.
  • All the used face masks and tissue papers should be thrown in a closed dustbin.
  • Toilet hygiene should be maintained while using a toilet during the HTET Exam.
  • Do not touch your mouth, eyes and face without washing your hands.
  • Avoid touching anyone be it a hug or a handshake.
  • Publicly spitting is strictly prohibited.
  • Ensure that you have no COVID symptoms on the HTET Exam day.

Important Do’s and Don’t:

  1. Candidates must carry the printed copy of the Coloured HTET admit card. Remember, candidates must ensure that the admit card is printed along with a coloured photograph on it. 
  2. Candidates must carry the same passport sized photographs which were uploaded during application to the exam centre.
  3. Any request regarding changes in the exam centre by the candidates will not be entertained by BSEH.
  4. Candidates are not allowed to carry any metallic element including ornaments, watch, camera, mobile phone, charger, Bluetooth devices, earphones, purse, log table, health band, electronic gadgets, plastic pouch, printed paper, written paper chit inside exam centres. Also, there will not be made any arrangements for the candidates to keep their belongings.
  5. Married candidates are allowed to wear mangal sutra, bindi and sindoor. Baptized Sikh candidates can also carry their religious symbols to the exam centres.
  6. Candidates must be careful while downloading the HTET admit card, there are two parts of the admit card, one part is centre copy and the other part of candidates copy. Both the part must be printed out in colour with the coloured photographs.
  7. All those candidates whose admit card is on hold need to check with the guidelines and need to provide required documents to download admit cards accordingly. In most cases, their photos or thumb impressions are not as per states norms.
  8. Physically handicapped or blind candidates can avail scribes following the proper procedure.
  • Do not speed read the questions. This might lead to misunderstanding and confusion regarding the questions. Read all the questions properly before answering them.
  • Do not panic during the exam. On the contrary, stay calm and relaxed while answering the questions.
  • Do not leave any questions unattempted. There is no negative marking so no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer. Thus, try to attempt 100% of the questions to increase your chance of scoring some extra points.
  • Don’t forget to bring your admit card and other important documents.
