HPU PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process
The selection process for admission to HPU PhD courses is through an entrance exam for some courses and a direct merit list for some. According to the notification released by HPU on July 21, 2022, the registration window is open for PhD Courses through direct admission. Admission to these courses will be strictly merit-based, and no entrance exam will be conducted. HPU will release merit lists of interested students according to their academic records and qualifying exam scores in post-graduation. Students will be called for counseling or a personal interview only after being shortlisted through the merit list.
However, the notification also mentioned that an entrance exam might be conducted in the month of December 2022 to fill the vacant seats for PhD, if any. Students must regularly check the official website for further details from the university.
