Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions for HPCL Exam 2022

Below we are sharing some important points you must consider before taking the exam. These last-minute tips are very important to achieve good marks in the exam. Candidates should keep in mind the 

1. The pattern of the HPCL Exam

• It is very necessary that you keep yourself aware and updated with the pattern of the exam.
• Know here HPCL Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Please go through it and know the exam pattern in detail.

2. Revision of Important Topics

• In this remaining crucial time, BYJU'S Exam Prep advises you not to start any new topic preparation, no matter how essl it is.
• This is the timetakingrevise the important topics of the paper you've already gone through. Revision plays an important role in the last-minute exam strategy.
• Plan a proper timetable, and focus on a proper study plan and revision.

3. Revision of Important Topics

• Keep solving previous year's papers and mocks and have faith in preparation.
• Don't forget to review the important topics asked in the previous year's paper.

4. Select Questions Wisely

Attempt less time-consuming topics first. Some of such topics are as follows-

• English language- Unseen Passage/Poem, Spotting error, fillers, vocabulary questions
• Mathematics ability -  Simplification, Number series, Geometry
•  General Knowledge - History, Geography, Political Science, General Science, Current Affairs
• The Technical or Professional Knowledge part will have questions related to the qualifying degree that should be attempted carefully.
• Attempting a good number of questions at the start of the exam will build your confidence.

5. Speed & Time Management

• This is one of the most important aspects to be kept in mind to clear the HAL Entrance exam.
• There is a negative marking of 1/3 out of 2 for each wrong answer, so make sure you attempt the questions wisely and confidently. 

6. Do not Panic. Stay Cool

• Do not panic if you are stuck on any question in the exam.
• Relax and read the question with full concentration. If nothing clicks, immediately move on to another question.

7. Eat Healthy & Sleep Well

• Our body needs the energy to work and perform efficiently. Healthy nutrition and ample sleep give an extra edge during the exam.
• Avoid junk food and drink an adequate amount of water to avoid dehydration. Also, try to get at least 8 hours of sleep during the exam days.

Do's & Don'ts for HPCL Exam 2022

• Don't devote too much time to a single question.
• Don't lose your calm.
• Do not panic during the exam if you encounter a difficult question.
• Don't be in a hurry while answering a question.
• Don't leave any questions blank in the exam.
• Don't forget to take your Admit card, photo ID proof, and 1 blue or black pen.
• Confirm the location and reach the exam center before the reporting time.
• Do read all the questions properly.
• Do relax and stay calm.
• Do attempt only those questions first that you are sure about.

Covid 19 norms for HPCL Exam 2022

Candidates must maintain social distancing starting from the point of entry to the exam venue. Candidate must bring their Mask, Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water Bottle, a simple pen, and exam-related documents.

1. Entry of Candidates will be given as per the time slot given on the Hall ticket to maintain Social Distancing at the center.
2. Mapping of roll number and the lab number will not be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of their entry of the candidate.
3. Candidates need to follow directions given by representatives & need to stand in the circles drawn at the entry points
4. At the registration desk, the candidates will be directed to sanitize their hands using provided Photographs that will be captured during the registration process.
5. Candidates will be under CCTV coverage throughout the examination.

The candidate is required to report at the exam venue strictly per the time slot mentioned in the admit card or informed via SMS on their registered mobile number prior to the exam date. It is expected that candidates strictly adhere to this time slot.
