Importance of HP TET Certificates:
As you all know, the HP TET certificate is the minimum eligibility to get a teaching job. So, after you have cleared the HP TET exam, you are eligible to become a government teacher. After getting the certificate, you can apply for vacancies released by schools of H.P./State Government/Local Authority. Some main importance of the HP TET certificate is given below:-
- According to the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, the HP TET certificate is the minimum eligibility for getting a government teaching job.
- Many Privates Institute also prefer or give preference to HP TET qualified candidates in recruitment.
- HP TET qualified teacher becomes eligible to apply in both regular/contractual teacher recruitment.
- After clearing HP TET there is an excellent chance of getting the government teacher job.
HP TET Certificates Qualifying Criteria:
- The candidates who appeared in HP TET will be issued a certificate.
- The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued an eligibility certificate.
- There shall be no negative marking.
- There will be one question paper in four different series.
- Questions in the question paper will be in MCQ(Multiple Choice) form/Objective Type.

- The validity period of HP TET qualifying certificates will be of seven years from the date of declaration of result.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts and an HP TET qualified person also can appear again and again in the exam for improving his/her score.
