GATE ME exam Revision in one week

The revision process in the last week before the GATE Mechanical Engineering exam must be taken solely keeping the GATE ME exam in mind. Here are a few tips to do GATE ME revision in one week before the exam:

  1. Revise as many times as possible
  2. Prepare and revise numerical problems
  3. Revise All the formulas
  4. Don’t start new topics
  5. Meditate and try staying healthy

Let us discuss all the above-mentioned points in details

Revise as many times as possible

Revision of all the topics that are to be asked in the GATE exam and are prepared by the student prior to the exam shall be revised as many times as possible. The more the student revises the complete syllabus, the more confident they get. Revising will not only help them retain the knowledge but will also help in clearing concepts and improve speed while doing problems.

Prepare and revise numerical problems

Students are advised to prepare and revise numerical problems every day before a week from the GATE exam to help them increase their speed while doing calculations. Practising numerical problems is known to be the best revising method for students as it will not only help them retain the calculations and short tactics but will also decrease the time taken by students in using a virtual calculator which will eventually help in the GATE ME exam on the final day.

Revise All the formulas

Revising all the formulas that are there in the GATE ME syllabus will be very helpful for students on the day of examination especially while doing MCQ-based questions as they are short and to-the-point questions.

Students are advised to create a separate document of all the formulas sp that they can be revising them any time during the day and will be very helpful in retaining the formulas on the day of the examination.

Don’t start new topics

Students are advised to not start any new topic one week before the GATE ME exam unless it is very important and carries high marks. Starting new topics so close to the GATE exam will not be as fruitful as revising already prepared topics.

Meditate and try staying healthy

It is very evident that the GATE ME exam is very complicated and stressful and can affect students drastically as the GATE ME exam comes closer. Students are advised to meditate every day so as to be mentally calm and stress-free before the exam.
