Hard Work is the Price, One must Pay for Success: Khushi

Hey Aspirants,

I am Khushi. Few months back, I was like one of you. I was a reader of success stories written by successful champions. But today, I am proud to say that even I am a champion and this is my success story.

First of all, heartfelt gratitude to my mom and dadWithout their support and help, I may have never succeeded in any part of my life. And thanks to GradeStack Team and Neeraj sir. You were the best part of my successful journey.

I did BCA in 2012 and Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology by distance learning in 2014. Initially, I was just enjoying my life and was not at all serious about my career. Government job like banking was something which I never thought about.

In 2013, while pursuing my PG, one of my friends was applying for Relationship Officer post in IndusInd Bank and so did I. I was selected but was not enjoying my job. Moreover due to excessive field work, my parents were reluctant for my job which made me left that job just in 3 months.

I was not aware about opportunities in banking sector. In 2014, one of my friends mailed me the notification of SBI PO 2014. And without even knowing anything about that type of competitive exams, I just felt like giving the exam and so I applied for it. I did self study for a month and gave my first banking exam. I was completely devastated by seeing the level of questions and so in 2014 I haven't applied for any other exams. Though I have cleared the cutoff I was not able to get a call for interview.

In March 2015, I thought to give it a try again. This time, I tried to find any good coaching in my area. But after attending demo classes for 3 days, I found that I need to prepare on my own. Meanwhile, the SBI PO 2015 notification came and I applied for that. Cleared Pre but could not clear mains (by 4.25 marks)

But SBI PO helped me to make me aware about my weakness. I couldn’t clear it because I spent majority time in reasoning section and due to this, very less time was left for other sections in which I could have scored good. I was not good in accuracy at that time which is why even after attempting 114, I could score only 85. After analyzing, I got to know that I need to work on time management and better accuracy.

I applied for IBPS PO V and IBPS Clerk V. Cleared IBPS PO prelims. And I have increased my accuracy. So I went for mains with confidence. But again reasoning section made me low.  There was a time during exam when I thought I should leave it. I thought of quitting the exam but don’t know what made me hold the ground, I felt like give it a try & leave everything else on my lord. Result came & I cleared it. J

After coming out from interview room I was not so confident that I will make it to the final list. But again after seeing my mains marks, a little hope inside me raised. On April 1st (RESULT DAY), I was waiting for my results since morning and when I saw the result I just read CONGRATULATIONS and started shouting to my mom, dad and brother. I was on cloud nine. This feeling is indescribable.

I also got final selection in IBPS CLERK V.

My friends, lastly I would say that give your 100% efforts and success will surely kiss you. Hard work and constant perseverance is necessary to achieve any goal. Time may come when you will feel irritated and annoyed because of hard work which these exams demand. People may say to give up. You will feel like quitting it. But just stay focused with your goals and live your dreams.

To sum it up all into brief

MY INPUT: Hard work and Efforts

MY OUTPUT: Job at Dena Bank for the post of PO and at Bank of India for the post of Clerk.

Remember, if I can achieve it, even you can achieve it. So Start working towards your goal and sail in the ship of success.

Thanks!
