Preparation Strategy for GSECL JE 2021 Exam: Tips and Tricks

Following are the tips to strategize and prepare better for the GSECL JE examination:

Know the  GSECL JE Syllabus & Exam pattern

  • The most important thing in the preparation for any exam is knowing the correct syllabus and exam pattern. Take a print-out of the Syllabus.
  • Read thoroughly syllabus by yourself and point out which topics you have to cover in deep and which you already know and highlight in the syllabus itself.
  • Once you have identified look at the exam pattern of the exam and plan yourself accordingly.

Analyse the previous year paper

It is important that you become familiar with the subjects that are commonly asked in the test. Instead of a headline-based approach, this is a clever way to prepare for an exam (usually done by the students these days ). Applicants will be able to cover a few important topics in this way.

Analyse the trend

  • Analyse the previous trend of the exam like which subjects are asked in bulk. for ex- if you will look at the civil Engg you will find that most of the questions are asked from only 5-6 subjects only so prepare them first.
  • Non-tech parts cover 40% of the syllabus so you have to equally focus on that part also, take a common book available in the market to cover this part quickly.

Time Schedule

  • By this, we mean that you should never make a solid timetable with so many solid layers to cover the subtopics within a matter of minutes. Instead, focus on completing the scheduled dates as your own understanding so that you do not regret wasting time on the irrational understanding of the main points. Be flexible but purposeful.
  • Create a timeline in such a way as to ensure 2-3 reviews.
  • If available, try a section test; don't just cover the syllabus. This not only helps to build an idea around a particular topic, but one knows how many different ways a question can be constructed and asked in a test.

Keep Sundays reserve for tests

Make a habit of reading, studying, and memorizing theoretical features but do not forget to keep them in long-term memory. Remember, the GSECL test date has not yet been set. Given the uncertainties, time can be extended, so it is advisable to review the test on Sundays.

Evaluate Yourself

  • Now that you have determined your daily routine, follow it and follow it.
  • Follow your timeline closely and check after each little activity.
  • Check your progress if you are behind, try to cover the margin by donating more time and resources.
  • Do not be discouraged if any goal is not completed but do not leave it instead to install it next week with a little effort.
  • Remember to check for errors and reasons why the work was not completed. Find and work on it and you'll be back in line soon.
  • Take small steps without rushing to accomplish anything.
  • Don't forget to check your performance.

Learn by note-making

Keeping notes and reviewing notes helps for a better review. It is always easy and helpful to review notes made by yourself. It helps to keep and remember better, and in testing, it gives the edge.

Relax Your Mind

  • Try to relax your mind and avoid taking on too much stress as it will have a negative impact on your productivity.
  • Avoid using social media for a while as it simply puts pressure on you by showing you unimportant news and spreading apathy.
  • Follow hobbies from research such as play music, watch something inspiring or bright, talk to your friends and family or do anything that makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Take proper rest and sleep because it will increase your concentration and help your mind to function properly.
