GETCO 2021 Preparation Tips

The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd (GETCO) department of the Gujarat Government has released a notification for a total of 352 vacancies ( 52 for Civil and 300 for Electrical) for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer) under GETCO JE 2021 Recruitment. Since its application process is complete and now the candidates who have applied should initiate their GETCO 2021 Preparation with full force in the right direction because the exam date will be published on the Official Website of the Organization soon.

GETCO JE Vidyut Sahayak Preparation Strategy

If an applicant aspires to crack any exam then the initial step is the correct approach and strategy.

Candidates can incorporate the following GETCO 2021 Preparation steps to excel in GETCO JE Exam:

Syllabus Study

  • The first step is to learn the importance of each topic from the exam point of view.
  • Analyze the topics and make a list according to the weightage that will help to reduce the deviation from the focussed and important areas.

Study Plan

  • Divide the timetable as per the syllabus and make sure all the subjects (General Knowledge, English Knowledge, Core Engineering Knowledge (EE/CE), Gujarati Language & Grammar, Computer Knowledge) are covered and allotted time properly.
  • Following a proper study plan with small targets is always a better approach. 
  • Consistency is the key to success, so cover all the topics but at a steady pace.
  • And importantly, the target should be what you can manage on the same day without fail.

Note: 

  • Most students focus more on Core Engineering subjects and give less importance to other non-tech subjects but these subjects can create a big difference in the merit if given proper concern. So, never ignore and give extra efforts to prepare for them.
  • Follow books and sources according to your comfort to study them after properly analyzing their difficulty level, important topics from the previous year papers and syllabus.

 

Previous Year Papers

  • Previous Year Papers provide an immense source to assess the type of questions, difficulty level, proportion of various subjects and their respective topics, change in the pattern etc.
  • It is extremely advisable to practice previous years papers of at least 10 years as much as you can and special attention should be given to recent ones because these are based on recent trends related to change in difficulty level and type of questions.
