Best Revision Strategy for  Success in GATE ME 2022

Students are advised to plan their revision process of the GATE Mechanical syllabus in a way that they obtain maximum benefit out of the revision process. In this article, we will learn how to strategize our revision process for the GATE ME exam.

  • Fix daily hours for revision.
  • Make short notes every time you revise or start new.
  • Prepare highlights and sticky notes to mark the most important topics and formulas
  • Practice and solving previous year’s question papers is a must.

Daily hours for revision.

When students start preparation for GATE, it is advised to fix 1-2 hours for revision in the initial phase and 4-5 hours for revision in the lateral phase of the preparation. Allotting a fixed time for the revision process will help students to remember and recall all the knowledge obtained while preparation.

Make short notes every time you revise or start new.

The best way to revise a topic is by revising only important concepts and tricky parts by short notes created while preparing. Every time you study or revise, create smaller notes and go through them more often than before.

Practice and solving previous year’s question papers is a must.

The revision process shall be accompanied by solving and revising the previous year’s papers. Revising the previous year’s paper will help you understand the possible pattern and type of questions that are asked in the GATE ME exam.
