RRB NTPC Full Form: Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories is the full form of RRB NTPC. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is a national-level body that conducts railway exams, including RRB NTPC Exam, for the recruitment of eligible 10th pass, 12th pass, graduate candidates for various posts for different RRBs. There are 21 regional RRBs that come under the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) under the Ministry of Railway. 

RRB NTPC Exam is being conducted to recruit for a variety of positions available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. It provides positions such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Junior Time Keeper, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk at the Undergraduate level. Commercial Apprentice, Goods Guard, Traffic Assistant, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Assistant cum Typist, Station Master, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, and more positions are available at the graduate level.

What is RRB NTPC?

As we all know that RRB NTPC is RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories that conducts exams to recruit eligible 12th pass and graduates for various posts. It is a national-level exam. The Railway Recruitment Board i.e. RRB is the conducting body for the exam. Around 35000+ vacancies have been announced by the RRB to be recruited through the RRB NTPC 2021. 

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria

There are the following eligibility criteria specified for candidates to appear for the RRB NTPC Exam based on education qualification, nationality, and age limit.

RRB NTPC Selection Process

RRB NTPC Selection Process comprises 4 stages. Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the RRB NTPC Exam is a computer-based exam of objective nature. Stage 3 is a typing test or skill test exam. Document Verification forms the last and the final stage of the RRB NTPC Exam Process.

RRB NTPC Stage 2 Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam, appear for RRB NTPC CBT 2. Here, in stage 2, candidates are given 120 questions to be solved within 90 minutes. Candidates must maintain speed throughout the exam. Let us have a look at the following table to know RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern:

RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test

Typing Skill Test is qualifying in nature. The number of candidates called for this stage is 8 times the total vacancies. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.

Document Verification

Based on the performance of candidates in the 2nd Stage, i.e. RRB NTPC CBT 2 and based on the performance of candidates in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable), candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.
