Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for HTET Exam 2021Board of School Education Haryana released the official notification for HTET 2021 on 15 November 2021. The Online registration for HTET Exam also started on 15 November 2021 itself. The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the HTET exam as the last date to apply online is 3rd December 2021. The HTET is scheduled to be conducted on 18th & 19th December 2021.

2. What is the eligibility criteria for HTET Exam 2021?

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (Level - 1)

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,  2007 notified on 31 August 2009. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,  2002. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level - 2)

  • Graduation in the relevant discipline and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Graduation in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation in relevant discipline with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

HTET Eligibility for Post Graduate Teacher (Level - 3)

  • Post Graduate degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • Passed Bachelor of Education from the recognized university.
  • Matrics with Hindi & Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation in Hindi as subjects and
  • Consistent good academic record

4What is the validity period of the HTET certificate?

Ans. The validity period of the HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be 7 years from the date of declaration of result for all levels. Earlier the validity was for 5 years.

5. How many times can a Candidates attempt for HTET Exam?

Ans. 
There is no limit on the number of attempts for appearing in the HTET Exam. A person already qualified can also appear again for improving his/her score.
