Q. How can a candidate apply for the post of MHA IB ACIO 2020 Exam?
A. A candidate need to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for MHA IB ACIO 2020 Exam:

  1. Visit MHA official website viz. mha.nic.in
  2. Click on the tab ‘What’s new?’
  3. Go through the link “Online Application for the Post of ACIO-II/Exe 2020”
  4. When a PDF file opens click on “Proceed” button
  5. After that, you will be redirected to “Online Application Form” page
  6. Fill all the details and submit it

Q. What is the eligibility criteria to apply for the IB ACIO 2020 Exam?
A. In order to be eligible for the IB ACIO 2020 exam, candidates need to fulfil the following conditions:

  • Educational Qualification Required: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University
  • Age Limit: 18-27 Years.

Note: Calculation of Age Limit will be done in accordance to the Closing Date of Online Application i.e., 09.01.2021.

Q. Can a candidate who is in the final year of his/her graduation apply for IB ACIO post?
A. Yes, a candidate can apply provided that his/her final result should be declared on or before 09th January 2021.

Q. How many vacancies are available for unreserved categories in IB ACIO Examination?

A. For unreserved categories, a total of 989 vacancies are available for them.

Q. A candidate who has passed out from distance education, can he/she apply for IB ACIO job?
A. Degree/Diploma etc. obtained through Open Universities/Distance education mode will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification unless it is recognized by Distance Education Council in terms of Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44, dated 01.03.1995 published in the Gazette of India dated 08.04.1995 for the relevant period when the candidate acquired the relevant qualification.

Q. While choosing the exam centres for IB ACIO Exam, how many centres can they opt for?

A. Candidates can opt for 3 exam centres/ options for online Tier 1 exam. Out of the 3 centres, candidates will get 1 exam centre. Hence, it is necessary to select the examination centres carefully.

Q. Is there any cut off for IB ACIO Examination?

A. Yes, there is a category-wise cut off for different categories as mentioned below:

  • Unreserved Category: 35 per cent
  • Other Backward Caste/ Economically Weaker Section: 34 per cent
  • Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 33 per cent

Q. Is there any reservation for the physically handicapped category in IB ACIO Exam?
A. No, there is no reservation for the physically handicapped category, and they do not need to apply for the same.

Q. Can a candidate who is colour blind can apply for IB ACIO Examination?

A. No, a candidate who is colour blind cannot apply for ou cannot apply for this job. The candidate should possess a normal colour vision.

Q. Does a candidate need to submit their filled application form by post?

A. No, candidate does not need to submit their filled application form by post. Application form submitted through online mode is sufficient.

Q. Is NOC required for applying by the candidates from the PSUs / Govt. departments?
A. Yes, NOC is required for the candidates who are working in PSUs/Govt. Departments but only at the time of interview.

Q. What is the marking scheme of IB ACIO 2020 Exam?
A. In Tier 1 Exam, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Q. Whether candidates have to submit hard copies of the application form?
A. No, candidates are not required to submit hard copies of their application form.

Q. Can a candidate change examination centre after the submission of the application process?
A. No, candidates cannot change the examination centre after the submission of the application process.

Q. What should I do if I upload wrong photograph and signature and submit the application process?
A. After final submitting of the application process, you do not change the photo and signature. But at the time of the exam, you can submit undertaking mentioning that you have uploaded wrong photograph and signature while submitting the application form. You must bring the original identity certificate along with an attested copy of the same and photograph to the examination hall.
