ESE 2022 Exam Pattern 

ESE 2022 is now scheduled to take place in three stages which are:

Stage 1: Objective Type

  • Paper 1- General Studies and Engineering Aptitude Paper( common to all disciplines)
    • 2 hours duration, 200 Maximum marks
  • Paper 2- Engineering discipline-specific paper
    • 3 hours duration, 300 Maximum marks

Stage 2: Conventional Type

  • Paper 1-Engineering discipline-specific paper
    • 3 hours duration, 300 Maximum marks
  • Paper 2- Engineering discipline-specific paper
    • 3 hours duration, 300 Maximum marks

Stage 3: Personality Test

  • 200 Maximum marks

The written examination is of 1100 marks and the personal interview conducted is of 200 marks making a grand total of 1300 marks.

General Revision Tips to Crack ESE IES ME Exam

1. Revise all the main topics as much as possible before the examination. 2. Memorizing Time-Saving Calculations

The calculator is not allowed in the ESE Prelims ME exam. Many toppers have shared their experience in the past as to remember values gives an upper hand.

3. Practising Numerical Questions

It is not sufficient to know the formulae or the procedure; you have to solve questions in less than one e minute. The best method is to set a timer and solve maximum questions in that time duration only.

4. Test Series
