Last-minute Preparation Tips for ESE 2021 Mains

New Topics are a big no-no

This is the moment to avoid starting a new topic or chapter, as it will only add to the tension and confusion of the issue. With only a few days until the ESE 2021 Mains test, you should not learn new things but rather concentrate on your strengths and properly revise them so that you can perform well in the topics you have already studied.

Practice More Mock Tests

More ESE 2021 Mains mock tests can help you have a better understanding of the questions that will be asked. You can keep track of how much time you spend on each question by practising mock tests. With this technique, you may work on your flaws and figure out how to complete the ESE 2021 Mains question paper in the allotted time. This will also help to raise your spirits. By taking mock tests, you may remedy any errors you've made and avoid repeating them in the real exam, which can negatively affect your result.

Staying Stress-Free

This is the most important step, so instead of becoming stressed, focus on revising the course thoroughly. You should know your strengths and weaknesses in various subjects by now, so start revising your stronger chapters first so that you can revise them as soon as possible. Also, think about the importance of the subjects and prepare extensively so that you can get good grades in your strong areas. Examine the prior year's question papers for those topics that are thought to be more important.

Take Breaks Frequently

It's difficult to study constantly for long periods of time without taking breaks. After an hour of studying, you should take a little break of 5-10 minutes to relax and enjoy yourself. Taking short breaks between studies will help you increase your attention and will refresh you sufficiently so that you can begin studying with much more enthusiasm and determination.

Use your time productively

It is critical to efficiently manage your time when taking the exam. Rather than focusing on the questions, you are unfamiliar with, try the ones whose solutions you are quite familiar with. Try to optimise your score and don't get too worked up if you spend longer than expected on a particular group of questions.

It is recommended that you attempt just those questions whose solutions you are highly familiar with in order to avoid receiving negative marks on the exam. The final days before the tests are critical, but you must maintain your composure and avoid becoming stressed.

Early Departure from Home

We all know how difficult it may be to go to work on time some days owing to crawling traffic or other issues. So make sure you're familiar with the route you'll be taking to go to your ESE 2021 Mains exam location. Keep in mind that arriving early is preferable to arriving late due to unexpected traffic conditions. Start 30-40 minutes before the specified time so that you can remain cool even if there is traffic and can revise the subjects in the middle.
