- While attempting reading comprehension, first attempt questions based on vocabulary and then jump to the rest of the questions
- Go through the rules of important topics of grammar like subject-verb agreement, preposition, noun, pronoun, verbs, etc.
- Daily practice a sectional mock to increase your speed and accuracy
Strategy for the Reasoning Ability
- Practice as many puzzles and seating arrangements as you can. We have seen the majority of the questions are asked from this topic
- The more you practice these topics, the more confident you become in solving the puzzles
- Practice the different types of puzzles asked in recent bank exams
- While practising this section, attempt topics like syllogism, inequalities, alphanumeric series, direction based questions, etc. first and then move to other topics
- Go through latest pattern syllogism and practice them thoroughly. We have seen a change in the type of questions asked from this topic
- Daily give at least one sectional test, check and analyze your exam preparation
Strategy for the Quantitative Aptitude
- To score well in this subject, you must have a good calculation speed with accuracy
- Practice topics like number series, approximation, simplification, and quadratic equations well. These are scoring topics and takes less solving time as well
- Practice all different types of Data Interpretations. In all the preliminary exams, you will find a minimum of 10 questions from this topic
- Learn tables up to 40, squares up to 30 and cubes up to 20. This will help you in doing calculations fastly and effectively
- After this, prepare arithmetic topics like profit and loss, SI and CI, Ages, Partnerships, Boats, and Streams, etc. It is seen that nowadays a good chunk of questions are asked from these topics
- Practice, practice, and practice. Only practice will help you fetch good marks in the exam
