b. (of a ghost) to appear in a place repeatedly - Synonyms: stalk, torment, trouble
- Antonyms: abandon, cease, abjure

3. Word: Contraption (मशीन)
- Pronunciation: kuhn-trap-shuhn/कन्ट्रैप्शन
- Part of Speech: Noun
- Meaning:
a. a device or machine that looks awkward or old-fashioned, especially one that you do not know how to use - Synonyms: gadget, gizmo, mechanism, contrivance

4. Word: Stature (उच्चता)
- Pronunciation: stach-er/स्टैचूर
- Part of Speech: Noun
- Meaning: importance or reputation gained by ability or achievement.
- Synonyms: quality, prestige, eminence, height
- Antonyms: unimportance, insignificance, deflate
- Use in a Sentence: Mary was surprised to spot her husband, recognizable by his small stature and familiar shirt, walking across the river.
5. Word: Salvage (रक्षा करना)
- Pronunciation: sal-vij/ सैल्वज
- Part of Speech: Noun
- Meaning:
a. the act of saving a ship or its cargo from perils of the seas.
b. the property so saved.
c. compensation given to those who voluntarily save a ship or its cargo.
d. the act of saving anything from fire, danger, etc.
e. to save from shipwreck, fire, etc. - Synonyms: rescue, save, retrieve
- Antonyms: lose, hurt, harm
- Usage in a sentence: The military salvaged many people's lives from the flood.
6. Word: Blockade (अवरोध करना)
- Pronunciation: blo-keyd/ब्लाकेड
- Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
- Meaning:
a. the situation in which a country or place is surrounded by soldiers or ships to stop people or goods from going in or out (Noun)
b. the act of using force or the threat of force to stop the movement of people or goods into or out of a country or area, or the people or objects used to prevent such movement (Noun)
c. to prevent goods or people entering or leaving a place, especially as a way of showing disagreement with a government or large organization (Verb) - Synonyms: block, barricade, siege, obstruct

7. Word: Contemplate (विचार करना/सोचना)

- Meaning:
a. look thoughtfully for a long time at.
b. think deeply and at length. - Synonyms: consider, ponder, meditate
- Antonyms: neglect, discard, abrupt
- Usage in a Sentence: My granny usually goes to the park to sit and contemplate.
8. Word: Leverage (लाभ उठाना)
- Pronunciation: lev-er-ij/लीवरिज
- Part of Speech: Noun
- Meaning:
a. power or ability to act or to influence people, events, decisions, etc.; sway - Synonyms: advantage, authority, supremacy
- Antonyms: inferiority, poorness, weakness
- Usage in a Sentence: We'll have to use better leverage if we want the deal to swing in our favour.
9. Word: Hegemony (आधिपत्य)
- Pronunciation: hej-uh-mon-e/ हीजेमनी
- Part of Speech: Noun
- Meaning: ruling or dominant in a political or social context.
- Synonyms: dominant, authoritative, foremost
- Antonyms: minor, dependent
- Usage in a Sentence: The three nations competed for regional hegemony.
10. Word: Stark (कठोर)
- Pronunciation: stahrk/स्टार्क
- Part of Speech: Adjective, Adverb
- Meaning:
a. empty, simple, or obvious, especially without decoration or anything that is not necessary (Adjective)
b. harsh, grim, or desolate, as a view, place, etc.(Adjective)
c. means completely clear (Adjective)
d. completely or extremely (Adverb) - Synonyms: austere, dour, fierce, flinty, forbidding, grim
- Antonyms: benign, benignant, gentle, mild, non-intimidating, tender
- Usage in a sentence: The dim halls made a stark contrast with the bright, sun-drenched apartment.
