JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling

JoSSA will be conducting the JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling and will look after the seat allotment process. The process requires the candidates to fill their choices of the colleges and courses in a specified period of time. The process will be online and no provision for the offline facility will be provided. A total of 7 rounds will be conducted in the JEE Advanced Counselling 2021. Candidates can participate in the JEE Advanced Counselling 2021 process only if they have secured a qualified rank in the JEE Advanced Exam 2021. The result of the JEE Advanced Counselling 2021 will be declared on the official website.

JEE Advanced 2021 will only be taken by candidates who qualify JEE Mains 2021. A cutoff list will be released and the candidates meeting the merit list will be able to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. Through JEE Advanced 2021, candidates can seek admission in IITs across the country.

JEE Advanced Counselling 2021 - Eligibility Criteria

Following criteria should be fulfiled by the candidates to appear for JEE Advanced 2201 Counselling:

  • Qualified rank in JEE Advanced 2021 exam
  • 75% in Class 12th for students of the general category and 65% for reserved category.
  • Candidates belonging to the category wise top 20 percentile in their respective 12th standard (or equivalent) board examination will also be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process.

JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling Steps

The following steps are needed to be followed by the candidates while appearing for JEE Advanced  2021 Counselling:


  • Register yourself by entering your required details.
  • Make a non-refundable registration fee.
  • As soon as the JEE Advanced 2021 counselling session starts, links will be activated and the students will be allowed to fill in their choices of colleges.
  • After filling up the choices, students are required to lock the choices. If not done, they will be automatically locked after the last date and no changes will be made.
  • After the release of the merit list, if the students qualify the list, they will be issued a provisional call letter from the college.
  • You will be required to visit the college to complete the further admission process.

  • Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, Visakhapatnam.

JEE Advanced 2021 Score Calculation

JEE Advanced 2021 Score calculation will be done on the bases of the performance of the candidates in each of the paper. There will be three papers in JEE Advanced 2021 i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The score of each of the subjects will matter to determine your rank in the All India Level examination. The Aggregate marks in JEE Advanced 2021 will be calculated as follows:


JEE Advanced 2021 Aggregate Marks = Aggregate marks in Mathematics + Aggregate marks in             

                                                                  Physics + Aggregate marks in Chemistry

The JEE Advanced 2021 Aggregate score will determine the rank and your total score. The score if matches or lie above the merit list released on the official website, then the candidate can proceed further with the admission process.

JEE Advanced 2021 Result

If sources are to be believed then JEE Advanced result 2021 will be released in mid-June 2021. Students will be required to visit the official website and log in into their accounts with their respective login credentials. The result will include the scorecard which will display the scores in paper1 and paper 2 of each subject along with the aggregate score and All India Rank held by the candidate.
