We are pleased to launch a new initiative i.e. Editorial Analysis for BBA & HM exams. Here, we will be providing some interesting articles along with their summaries. This will help you in understanding the articles in a better way.

Aim of this reading exercise

  • The aim of this exercise is to develop your Grammar, Vocabulary, and learn the contextual usage of various words

  • Along with these, the exercise also develops your stamina and comprehension ability.

  • Regular reading helps you subconsciously, in developing the instinct to pick out the grammatically and contextually correct sentences, from the other close options.

Over the years, the importance of good comprehension skills for BBA & HM has increased. At the same time, solving RCs can be both easy and tough. Many people consider RCs to be long and tedious but if you approach them well, they can be a scoring area for you. And for that, you need to be well-versed with reading a wide variety of articles to improve your comprehension skills and in turn, improve your chances of scoring well in the exams.

This free series is meant to bolster your reading skills, while also brushing up your vocabulary and general awareness as well. The motive behind this series is to get the aspirants accustomed to reading so that they don't face reading blues in the exam.

The first article, titled "Fair assessment: On CBSE Class 12 evaluation system" is published in The Hindu. It takes into account the recently proposed evaluation scheme of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to evaluate class 12th students as the author explores various aspects related to the issue.

On the other hand, the second article titled "Porting ration cards: A retooled PDS that’s alive to social and economic importance of migratory labour is a must" is published in The Times of India. It takes into account the recent ruling of the Supreme Court of India, enabling the implementation of the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme as the author expresses his/her support of the same.

Now, your job is to read the articles first and then move on to the summaries for a better understanding of the context. Also, please tell us about your thoughts in the comment section down below.
