ECGC PO Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates before applying for the post must the various eligibility conditions specified by the organization in ECGC PO notification 2022 PDF. Check the nationality, age limit, and educational qualification details below.

Nationality

The candidate must be either –

• a Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• a person of origin of India who has migrated from  Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Sri Lanka Uganda, Pakistan, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),  Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit (as on 21.03.2022)

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 22.03.1992 and not later than
21.03.2001 (both the dates inclusive). He or she must be of at least 21 years (Minimum Age). The candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years (Maximum Age). 

Educational Qualification  (as on 20.04.2022)

1. The candidates who are willing to apply must be a graduate.
2. Must have passed his/her graduation from a recognized university by the central Govt.
3. He/she must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Age Relaxation:

If a candidate falls under any of the below-mentioned categories then he/she can avail the advantage of the age relaxation.

ECGC PO Selection Procedure

There will be two stages in the selection procedure of ECGC PO recruitment 2022 notification.

• Online Test ( Objective & Descriptive )
• Interview

A merit list will be drawn on the basis of the marks scored in both online tests and interviews. The marks weightage of Online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. It is mandatory to clear both the stages in the selection process as mentioned.

Note: There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. A sectional timer will be there. No marks will be deducted for left-out questions.

Phase-II Interview Round

Candidates who will qualify for both online and descriptive online tests will be called for the interview round. The details for the examination center, venue, time, and other details will be informed in due course of time by the organization on its official site.

ECGC PO Salary
