(1) Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
(2)Degree / Diploma in training /Education. 
(I) Having obtained a PhD. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/Institution. OR
(II) Having obtained First Division in Higher Secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the Mandatory condition that
the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service. 

• Below 36 years, Age Relaxation
• Guest/Contract teachers:- Relaxation in upper age as a one-time measure up to the actual time spent as a contractual employee of the same department, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for at least 180 working days in that particular year as per Services Department

• Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society.
• The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matters of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person.
• The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations/Institutions, etc.

• The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types.
• The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.

• The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover a number of Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.

• Testing of candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the Hindi Language.
• In addition to this, questions on Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and their correct usage, etc. would also be covered.

• Testing of candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the English Language.
• In addition to this, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and their correct usage, etc. would also be covered

• Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions) on the subject concerned as per the qualification

Section - A:-MCQs of one mark each as per the existing examination scheme
1. Mental ability and reasoning ability,
2. General Awareness,
3. English Language & Comprehension,
4. Hindi Language& comprehension,
5. Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation
Total 100 Marks (20 Marks each)

Section- B:-MCQs pertaining to Post-Graduation qualification and teaching methodology required for the post. (200 Questions): 200 Marks.
