DSSSB JE Exam Pattern 2022: Overview for Junior Engineer
Eligible and interested candidates applying for the DSSSB JE 2022 must familiarize themselves with the DSSSB Junior Engineer Exam Pattern as released by the Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board.
Since, the DSSSB JE exam 2022 pattern is divided into two stages, Tier 1 & Tier 2. Therefore candidates must prepare themselves accordingly. Because qualifying both the tiers is not gonna be an easy nut to crack. To ace both the tier candidate must have to prepare for the DSSSB JE exam separately.

DSSSB Junior Engineer Exam Pattern for Tier 1
The first phase of the DSSSB JE selection process is a qualification in the DSSSB JE Tier 1 Exam. Let's understand the DSSSB JE Tier 1 Exam pattern which is provided below in the table.
- The DSSSB JE Exam has five papers in section A and one paper in section B.
- Section A mainly contains questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language & English Language. Whereas Section B has questions from Electrical/Civil Engineering subjects.
- Each section of the DSSSB JE Tier 1 paper has 100 questions of 100 marks.
- The DSSSB JE Exam will be for a total of 2 hours for 200 questions.

The DSSSB JE Tier 1 Exam is screening. Candidates who qualify for the DSSSB JE Exam will only be allowed in the next stage of the DSSSB JE selection process which is the DSSSB Jr. Engg. Tier 2 exam.
DSSSB JE Tier 2 Exam Pattern
The DSSSB JE Tier 2 Exam is of great importance and the second stage of the DSSSB JE selection process. In the DSSSB JE Tier 2 Exam, a candidate's knowledge about the core engineering concepts is checked in a more vivid manner. Qualifying the stage second of the DSSSB JE exam is tougher compared to the first stage of the DSSSB JE Exam 2022. The marks scored by an aspirant in the DSSSB JE tier 2 exam paper will be used to determine ranking in the final selection.
- DSSSB JE Tier 2 exam is divided into two sections of multiple-choice based questions.
- Section A has a double number of questions compared to Section B of the DSSSB Tier II Exam.
- DSSSB JE Tier 2 exam Section A has 100 questions to check the subjective knowledge of a candidate while the other Section B has 50 questions that check the problem-solving skills.
- The total number of questions will be 200 of 200 marks.
- The duration of DSSSB JE Exam will be 2 Hours 30 Minutes for the Tier 2 exam.

DSSSB JE Qualifying Marks: Cut Off Marks
The DSSSB has notified the minimum marks or the cut-off marks to select the candidates for the DSSSB JE exam. The category-wise DSSSB JE cut-off marks are given below.

Final Selection for DSSSB Junior Engineer 2022
After completion of the DSSSB JE Tier 2 exam, the board will release a merit list. The merit list for the DSSSB JE exam 2022 will be on the basis of the marks scored by you in the tier 2 exam. Hence, you must score high marks in the DSSSB JE Tier 2 exam for your selection into the DSSSB as Junior Engineer.
