CMAT Exam Day Guidelines: Check Here Do’s and Don’ts for CMAT 2023 Exam

The Common Management Admission Test is a National Level Entrance exam for candidates who aspire to get admission into management colleges across the country. From 2019 onwards NTA is the conducting body of CMAT.

As per the latest notification, the CMAT 2022 question paper will consist of 100 questions with 20 questions in each section across all the five sections. In the year CMAT 2021, Innovation and Entrepreneurship was introduced as an optional section but from CMAT 2022 onwards this section has been made mandatory. The CMAT 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on 4th May 2023, therefore the candidates should know the important exam day guidelines for the CMAT exam so that they can maximize their CMAT score.

CMAT 2023: Things You Must Remember for the Exam-Day

With just one day left before the CMAT 2023 exam it is very important for the candidates to know the important things that they should keep in mind for the D-Day. 

  • The candidates are required to reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their respective admit cards. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre after the gate closing time.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without the admit card and valid ID proof (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar Card with Photograph/E-Aadhar/Ration Card/Aadhar Enrollment No with Photo
  • Candidates will be allowed to carry the following things into the exam hall:

    *Transparent Water Bottle

    *Transparent ball point pen

    * Downloaded admit card from the official website on A4 size paper 

    *Self-declaration form duly filled and signed should be printed on A4 size paper

    * Original Identity Card

Note: Candidates must ensure to paste the photograph and put a thumb impression on the admit card at the appropriate place before reaching the examination centre.

  • Candidates must carry PWD certificate issued by the Competent Authority for claiming relaxation under the PWD category.
  • The mode of examination will be computer based therefore the candidates are required to login using their username, pin no and password 5 minutes before the examination start time.

Documents to be Carried on CMAT 2023 Exam Day

  • Candidates should download both the pages of the admit card and print them on A4 size paper and carry them to the exam centre alongwith with a valid original photo identity proof:
    • Aadhar Card
    • Passport
    • PAN Card
    • Valid College ID
    • Driving License
    • Ration Card
    • Govt. Issued ID card
  • At least two passport size photos (Similar to the one uploaded on the CMAT Application form) along with them
  • Eligible candidates are required to carry the PWD certificate (if any) to the exam center
  • Self-Declaration for COVID-19
  • Identity Card (Original)
