Documents Required For GATE 2024 Registration For Indian Candidates

Candidates must provide personal information like name, date of birth, mobile number, parent’s mobile number, etc. The candidate’s name in the application form must be the same as that in the qualifying degree certificate or the certificate issued by the head of the department/institute where the candidate is pursuing their study. Documents Required For GATE 2024 Registration For International Candidates

The candidate’s name in the application form must be the same as that in the qualifying degree certificate or the certificate issued by the Head of the department/ Institute where the candidate is pursuing their study. Photograph and Signature Requirements for Filling GATE 2024 Application Form

Candidates must upload a good-quality photograph, and your GATE 2024 scorecard will contain the same photograph. Candidates must upload photographs on which the face must cover 60% – 70% of the size. Any foreign objects except spectacles with power must not cover the face in the photo. Upload the image of your photo in JPEG / JPG format. The face in the photograph must not be covered by hair. Dimensions of Photograph

• The minimum aspect ratio of the photograph of the GATE 2024 application form = is 0.66.
• The maximum aspect ratio of the photograph of the GATE 2024 application form = is 0.89.
• The face must cover 60- 70% of the image after cropping the image.
• The maximum size of the GATE 2024 application form photograph can be 480×640 pixels, and the minimum pixel resolution is 240×320.
• The minimum file size of the GATE 2024 application form is 20 kB, and a maximum of 200 kB of the GATE 2024 application form photographs.

High-Quality Image of the Candidate’s Signature

• Candidates have to upload a clear signature in JPEG / JPG form.
• Size aspect ratio, Height: Width= 1.0:A
• ‘A’ needs to be between 3.25 to 3.75.
• The candidate must be in black or dark blue ink for signature.
• The GATE 2024 application form image size (signature) is between 5 kB (minimum) and 200 kB (maximum).
• Avoid a signature with a dark background and do not take photographs with the mobile phone.
• The maximum image size for the signature GATE 2024 application form can be 160×560 pixels.
• The minimum image size for the signature GATE 2024 application form should be 80×280 pixels.

• Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).

• Scanned copy of any valid photo identity documents, ie. Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, and Driving License (should have a name, date of birth of the candidate, and unique Photo ID number).
• Photo identity cards must be returned to the examination hall for verification.
