D.El.Ed. stands for Diploma in Elementary Education. D.EL.ED. is a diploma-level course that can be pursued after 12. D.EL.ED. is a two-year course that is focused on child education. D.EL.ED. trains aspirants to teach the students belonging to the primary/upper primary level.

D.El.Ed. 2022-24 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of CBSE or its equivalent examination from any other recognized Board/University. The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination required for admission to D.EL.ED. the course is 50% in aggregate. For calculating the percentage of
marks for 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE, best 5 subjects including at least one language will be considered.
Five percent relaxation of marks in the qualifying examination is allowed for candidates belonging and applying under the categories of Scheduled Caste,
OR Scheduled Tribe OR Person with Disability (PwD) only.
It is important to note that, the candidates belonging to above mentioned three categories and having 45% marks in qualifying (10+2) exam are also eligible to apply.

D.El.Ed. 2022-2024 Age Limit

The maximum age should not be more than 24 years as on 30th September 2022.
5 years relaxation of age in upper limit is allowed for candidates belonging and applying under the categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability (PwD) only, subject to submission of a certificate from the competent authority.

D.El.Ed.2022-2024 Exam Pattern

Taking admission in D.El.Ed. is not an easy task as candidates need to qualify for the exam in context to it we are sharing exam patterns for Entrance Test. The level of test will be of 10th Class level and the level of Numerical Ability will be of Class 8th level. There will be 150 questions in the entrance test.

D.El.Ed. 2022-24 Exam Center

Candidates while applying for the D.El.Ed. program need to fill the exam centres. Candidates must fill out three choices of exam centres based on their preferences. It is important to note that the entrance test will be conducted in Delhi and NCR only. The tentative entrance centre choices are East Delhi, West Delhi, North Delhi, South Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Sonipat, Gurugram, and Bahadurgarh.
